Family sewing
These classes will teach you how to use a sewing machine and create simple projects like scrunchies, tote bags and aprons. Enjoy time together with plenty of chatting and laughter while exploring a new hobby. Learn from our experienced teacher Sally, and also each other while crafting.

Not at all! We understand that sometimes we choose the people we call family. So if you have a loved one that you would like to bring along and learn to sew together, go for it!
Dads, brothers, aunties, grandmas, sisters and any other loved ones are welcome!

In each class, you’ll be working on a different project. You can find the materials list for these projects here.
If you choose to come along to all of the classes, you can pick up all of the items on the materials list. If you’ve only booked into one or two classes, pick your favourite items off the project list to create in class.
You’ll need to bring all of the materials (fabric and haberdashery) with you to class so you can start creating.

Each lesson is 2hrs, running every second Saturday during the school term. You and your loved one can choose to come to all of the classes offered throughout the term, or book into a few lessons - we’re flexible!
We also have tea and coffee in the studio that you can help yourself to throughout the class.
